# Images Not Supported

> The run sent images to a model that does not accept them.

**HTTP status:** 400

## Error message

model '{model}' does not accept images; send text only
```

## When this error occurs

`POST /agents/conversations/{id}/runs` sent at least one `image` block, in the user message or in a tool output, and
the run's model takes images on no platform. The model is the conversation's `defaults.model`, or the run's
`config_override.model` if it sets one.

The check looks at the model, not at the data plane the run will use. A Claude model on a Snowflake data plane passes
it, and the run still starts, but the model gets a short note in place of each image instead of the image.

## How to fix

* Run the conversation on a Claude model, either through `config_override.model` for this run or in the
  conversation's defaults, on an AWS data plane.
* Or send the run without images. If the image holds text or a table, send that as text.
